156 Q Do you remember the taking of the Dachau Concentration Camp?

A Yes, sir.

157 Q Were you present when a number of SS men were separated from the other prisoners taken by your company?

A Yes, sir.

158 Q What other officers were present?

A I believe Lt. Drain, Company "M", and Col. Sparks. I believe that is all I can recall. There were other officers in the near vicinity, but out a little bit.

A I believe Lt. Drain, Company "M", and Col. Sparks. I believe that is all I can recall. There were other officers in the near vicinity but out a little bit.

160 Q Did Col. Sparks witness the separation of the SS men from the other prisoners?

A I do not know on that. I recall seeing him further down the road initially where we found the bodies. There was sort of a command group there.

161 Q The bodies that you speak of as having been found, do you refer to the bodies in the boxcars along the railroad tracks?

A Yes, sir.
