626 Q Please state your name, rank, serial number and organization.

A Private Chester Domanski, 36980739, Regimental Headquarters Company, 222nd Infantry, 42nd Division.

(The witness was advised of his rights under the 24th Article of War.)

627 Q Do you remember the taking of the Dachau Concentration Camp?

A Yes, sir, I do.

628 Q Who were you with when you entered the camp?

A Sgt. Wells and Capt. Mac Laughlin.

629 Q After you got inside the camp where did you go?

A Sir, as we entered the gate the crowd came around us and the crowd took me towards the kitchen and Sgt. Wells went the other way, and the crowd took me in their kitchen.

630 Q Are you talking now about a crowd of inmates of the Concentration Camp?

A Yes, sir.

631 Q Was that inside the barbed wire enclosure itself?

A Yes, sir.

632 Q What did you do before you got inside this barbed wire enclosure?

A As far as I know we came up to the gate first at our different sections and the first section we met and Capt. Mac Laughlin, and we came to the second sector and there was one of these prisoners who opened the gate and as we walked in the crowd pulled one this way and one that way. They took me into the kitchen and another polish
